Police in Eldoret are searching for a 21-year-old woman suspected of getting an abortion and hiding a male fetus in a Munyaka estate toilet for five months. 

David Sitati Wanyama, who confirmed the occurrence, claimed that residents of the Munyaka neighbourhood found the fetus and alerted authorities at the Kapsoya police station.

Police have reportedly started a manhunt in the area since the suspect is on the run, according to Wanyama.

As police investigated, the recovered male fetus's body was transferred to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital for preservation.
