Seven hundred fifty litres of ethanol have been found, and three people have been detained during a police sweep in the Mabera Sub-county of Migori County.
The three suspects who are currently being held by police, according to Mabera Sub-county Deputy County Commissioner Joyphila Wambua, were discovered in the home where the 750 litres of ethanol were recovered.
According to Wambua, the police have been given the suspects and the ethanol found for use in their investigations.
According to the deputy county commissioner, the purportedly ethanol-laced death brew drove the raid.
