The results for the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations are expected to be announced today.

In December 2024, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba confirmed that the results would be released in the second week of January 2025.

The exams, which began on October 28, were taken by 965,501 candidates across 10,755 exam centers nationwide.

CS Ogamba revealed that the Ministry of Education recorded 621 cases of examination malpractice reported from 198 centers.

To ensure the timely and accurate marking of the exams, the government engaged 32,800 examiners this year, an increase from 29,876 in 2023. The CS also noted that the marking of the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) exams had already been completed.
