Famous Kenyan musician and businesswoman Esther Akoth, also known as Akothee, appeared on Monday while participating in a tree-planting activity with other Kenyans. She was dressed in a short red dress.

The singer, who has had a lot going on in her life, shared a little video of herself in the stunning gown and disclosed that it was one of the many presents she got on her wedding day earlier this year.

Despite how things turned out, Akothee took the chance to express her gratitude to the person who gave her the dress and acknowledged them for attending her wedding.

She was seen in the video giving a quick hug to a man before they marched to meet her ex-partner, Nelly Oaks.

This occurred only a few weeks after the mother of five revealed that she had already filed for divorce from her husband, Denis "Omosh" Schweizer.

At the end of October, the 43-year-old artist announced that her marriage to Denis Schweizer had ended. He confirmed this During a live session he shared with his fans on social media.



She revealed during the episode that she divorced Omosh in June while they were still on their honeymoon.

"I have moved on from those relationships. They don't exist anymore. I want to tell you that I got out of that relationship in June. However, I will not explain in detail," Akothee said.

She added, "I enjoyed my marriage, I enjoyed my wedding. I don't regret anything. I had my wedding on my birthday so if things went wrong, like they did, then I wouldn't have any regrets."

After discovering several things she was unaware of, Akothee claimed that he ended their marriage while they were still on their honeymoon.


She was unequivocal at the time that she was single and that she would never allow a man to have a psychological effect on her.

"I am a person who does not force things. When it doesn't work for me, even if it works for you, it doesn't work. The reason I don't stay in toxic relationships that I don't understand is because my money is in my head. When I allow any man to mess with my head, then he disturbs my pocket," she said.
