Former investigative reporter Enock Sikolia expressed anger at an article published by Media Max's K24, which purportedly quoted him wrongly.

Sikolia, who departed from Royal Media in 2020 amid the COVID-19 pandemic, was quoted by K24 stating that Cabinet secretaries and Permanent Secretaries ceased answering his calls under unclear circumstances after he departed from Royal Media Services.

This elicited an indignant response from the journalist, now running a YouTube channel. Addressing the issue on his official X account, he denounced the article as misleading, promptly clarifying that he is neither frustrated nor facing the problems portrayed in the piece.

Furthermore, he specifically criticized the individual responsible for the article, branding them as unprofessional and questioning their fitness to practice journalism unless they undergo further training.

K24's reference to the incident stems from Sikolia's recent YouTube video where he discussed his departure from Citizen TV. However, Sikolia contends that K24 misquoted and misconstrued the context of his statements, resulting in their inability to produce a comprehensive and accurate article.
