On his newly launched TikTok account, Kanyari criticized those who label TikTok as evil, arguing that if it is considered as such, then television should also be classified as evil.

Kanyari further defended his decision to join TikTok, asserting that there are individuals on the platform who reach out for prayers.

“Tap tap guys tufike 21k, tafadhali tap tap, ahsante.” he said.

A considerable number of citizens joined his TikTok live stream, with some even donating money to him. Nevertheless, questions persist regarding whether Kanyari is solely using TikTok to solicit funds from netizens or if he genuinely aims to attract more people to the church.
