Bongo artist Diamond Platinumz has shocked his followers by declaring a song by his longtime rival Alikiba as his favorite. Mr. Simba went ahead and shared the Asali song by Kiba on his Instagram stories.

Given their long-standing rivalry, no one would have predicted that Diamond would do such a thing. Diamond has been thought to be trying to make peace with Kiba over time, but Kiba has been acting rough and hard. In a previous interview, the Nawaza hitmaker openly declared that he would welcome collaborating with Alikiba.

The rivalry has persisted for years, largely because their admirers attempted to compare the two and determine who is the ultimate king of bongo among them.

The argument has been that Diamond is the indisputable king of music and commerce, whereas Kiba is the undisputed king of voice and musicality over time.

Diamond has grown past the conflict and is prepared to collaborate with Alikiba. In reality, he brought up their rivalry in his 2022 EP, where he said that after reflecting on it, he had concluded that it had only been a backward struggle for admirers and support.

In the interview with Wasafi Fm, he discussed the rivalry in-depth. He declared he has the utmost regard for Alikiba and has never harbored animosity toward the bongo star.

Diamond even denied the allegations that their feud began after he removed Alikiba's verse from a song they had co-written. He said that despite numerous invitations, Alikiba had never attended any of his events.

Despite Diamond's assertions that he gets along with Ali, their hatred has always been obvious as day. They each simultaneously released a song in 2021. A short while later, Alikiba's song on YouTube exceeded Diamond's by receiving over a million views in just 12 hours.

A video of Stevo Simple Boy saying "Inauma but Itabidi uzoee" was posted by Alikiba in response to Diamond's accusation that Ali had purchased views.

When Diamond invited Alikiba to the Wasafi festival on another occasion, but Alikiba chose not to go, he complained that Diamond had lied about inviting him and that he was unwilling to cooperate with him in any way.
