Ledama said that if the Deputy President has proved that any of President Uhuru Kenyatta's Cabinet Secretaries misappropriated public cash, they should pay dearly.

He stressed that the suspects face legal charges.

Nonetheless, he gave Gachagua a word of caution, saying that his time would also come.

"Instead of performing for the audience, The offenders are charged by Mr Rigathi with stealing public monies in court! Every cabinet secretary you can prove dipped a hand in the cookie jar should pay severely for it! But take caution since your time will come as well, "Ledama Ole Kina said

Ledama was responding to Gachagua's comments from Sunday, in which he claimed that he would soon release information about and the names of the former CSs and Principal Secretaries who had participated in widespread thievery.

Gachagua, who spoke at a church service in Nairobi, promised to provide a thorough report on the CSs and PSs responsible for the money theft soon.

"I will disclose information on the billions of shillings missing from the public coffers in the final three months of the previous administration in the coming days. To let Kenyans know who is in charge, I shall name the ministries and Principal Secretaries", Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua added.

The DP further asserted that a scheme to buy more time to deplete the coffers was behind the decision to petition the Supreme Court to overturn William Ruto's designation as the President-elect.

Gachagua claims that between the time the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) named Ruto as President and the day he took an oath of office, more than Sh24 billion went missing.

Rigathi Gachagua said he would expose everyone who is involved in stealing money amid the summoning of Matiangi by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
