The disclosure means that Mwanaisha Chidzuga will finally make a comeback on the screens after being away for close to 4 years.
The celebrated Swahili news anchor last worked at the Mediamax Limited-owned station K24 TV, before calling it quits in October 2019.
Mwanaisha Chidzuga had worked at the station for 4 years, and she hosted the weekend segment dubbed 'K24 Wikendi'.
Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday, October 30, she surprised her fans with the news of her leaving the station.
"Hi good people, I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support at K24 and K24 Wikendi, but again God has other bigger plans for me away from K24 TV" she wrote.

Mwanaisha Chidzuga went on to say that one of the reasons she left the station was to pursue her passion, but she vowed to return to television at some point in the future. According to sources, she left KTN TV, where she had previously worked for a period, and joined K24 TV in November 2015.
