Socialite Vera Sidika landed in New York a few hours after her estranged husband singer brown mauzo announced that they were getting a divorce.

The socialite had previously posted a pic on a plane saying that she was catching flights instead of feelings, She is yet to address the issue surrounding her split from the singer. Mauzo on the other hand seems to be dealing with the breakup locally while taking care of their two kids.

Mauzo took to Instagram to announce that he has been receiving a lot of attention from women after he announced his breakup. he added that it is a reason why he doesn't go out much.

Mauzo had announced their separation shortly after the socialite returned from Dubai.In an emotional Instagram post, Mauzo said they decided to end their marriage. He said they have created treated memories together and will always cherish them.

He said they will now focus on healing and embracing the future to see what it holds. He asked fans to understand and to respect their privacy during this time.

Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point where it's best for both of us and our babies, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, to move forward separately..." he wrote in part.
