A police officer was killed and his colleague injured while transporting KCSE exam papers to Mahero secondary school in Siaya County.
The officers who were in the company of the center manager were ambushed by the assailants who attacked them using deadly weapons.
The thugs killed one officer and injured another while the center management fled for safety. Before fleeing, the criminals stole the policemen's weapons.
