Four suspects were arrested on Sunday following an operation by Transnational Organized Crime detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Moyale, Marsabit County.
The detectives also recovered two firearms and live rounds of ammunition.
According to DCI, the first two suspects, identified as Dhenge Guyo Molu and Kotor Ali Jillo, were intercepted at the Sessi area.
Kes 83,000 pistol and 169,995 Ethiopian Birr believed to have been stolen were recovered from the duo upon search.
Their motorcycle was also impounded, and the suspects were taken to Moyale Police Station pending further action.

The second operation was a botched robbery, which led to the arrest of Kelisa Dulacha Guyo and Wario Ana Halake.
DCI says the two were cornered at a shop within the Hilo Gold mine after a shopkeeper made a distress call.
A rifle loaded with six live rounds was recovered.
The two are set to be arraigned today, Monday 19.
