Officers from the anti-narcotics unit have detained two Nigerian nationals and a Kenyan woman on suspicion of trafficking in cocaine, heroin, and methamphetamine.

Stephen Emenike, Chijioke Andrew Maduka, and Margaret Wanjiku Kioni were ambushed on Friday at their hiding place in Clay City, Kasarani, according to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

The drugs discovered in their hands, according to DCI, are expected to be worth about Ksh—1.3 million on the black market.

Weighing machines and packaging supplies are the additional goods taken from the premises.

The accused will be held in police custody while legal proceedings take place.
