Three Kenyans and two Tanzanians were arraigned at Makindu Law Court in Makueni County on charges of robbery with violence and murder of Joseph Kamala in Makindu on August 31.
The five disputed the allegations before Principal Magistrate Evans Mbicha.
Boniface Mugira, George Maina, James Mwangi, Victor Arnold, and Antipas Msana were accused of stealing a motorbike valued at Ksh.176,100 and murdering its owner, Mr Kamala.
They were denied bond and will be remanded until September 24, when they appear in court for a case hearing.
