Kenyans have raised questions on Twitter after suspects who had been arrested were later found dead after an alleged shooting by the DCI

the DCI posted images of the suspects detained but later pulled down the post and tweeted one where the suspects were dead. Two shots were used in the initial position to show the legs of the arrested two gangsters, one with brown camel shoes and black trousers and the other with black socks and beige trousers.

Two rifles, 18 rounds of ammunition, and a pile of cash wrapped in rubber bands were found in the second post. However, the comment section turned for the worst when a tweep posted an image of two men, whose attires perfectly matched the images seen in the DCI post, asking, "Hello there, hekaya itanuka. Do you recognise this photograph?"

The men in the image were seated on the ground, tied to one handcuff and several officers around them dressed in army fatigues.

The DCI later reported that the suspects were gunned down after a shootout with officers in muranga. Twitter users demanded an explanation of how suspects arrested by the DCI alive were later reported dead by the same DCI.

"Bodies belonging to the fallen thugs were taken to Murang'a Level V Hospital mortuary awaiting identification as a manhunt for the rest of the suspects ensue "DCI.
