Two individuals suspected to be involved in the murder of a 25-year-old Utalii College student named Job Chihonyi have been apprehended by investigators from Starehe. Chihonyi was killed on February 5, 2023, just a short distance from the college gate along Thika Road.
The suspects, identified as Kevin Ngechu and Maxwell Omukuba, are alleged to have robbed Chihonyi of his phone before stabbing him in the chest and fleeing on a motorbike.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) reported that a mobile phone believed to be stolen and a black motorbike with the registration number KMGF 828K, suspected to have been used as a getaway vehicle, were recovered from Kevin Ngechu. Both suspects are currently in custody and are expected to face murder charges in court next week.
