Nancy Kigunzu Indoveria, the businesswoman known as 'Mathe wa Ngara' who is being investigated for drug trafficking, has been jailed for five days longer to allow the prosecution to conclude its investigations.
Kizungu informed the JKIA Law Courts on Wednesday that she suffers from anxiety and requested that she be granted time away from the police station for medical treatment.
Senior Principal Magistrate Njeri Thuku determined she has the right to see a doctor when necessary. The Muthaiga OSC was told to ensure the businesswoman was transported to the hospital.
"It should not be the case that when I need you in court, you claim to be in the hospital." Let us not engage in such games. "She has the right to medication, but only under the full supervision of the police," the court stated.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) indicated in an affidavit filed before the court that there is more than only marijuana impounded at Kigunzu's location, adding that they need time to engage experts in testing and sampling edibles suspected of being contaminated with illicit substances.
She is suspected of fleeing the scene of last week's operation before being apprehended in Nairobi's city centre on Monday.
