Police in Kagio town in Kirinyaga County are looking for a 38-year-old woman who stabbed her boyfriend five times in private areas, causing fatal injuries.
According to Kirinyaga West sub-county police chief Moses Koskei, the woman, who works as a barmaid in the market center, is being sought by authorities following the incident.
"She stabbed his boyfriend five times: twice in his left thigh, twice in his right thigh, and once in his private parts," Koskei added.
According to Koskei, the man died from blood loss, and authorities are looking into how the woman killed her partner.

"The two have rented the house along Baricho Road in this trading center, and we're told they both come from the Gichugu constituency," Koskei explained.
According to the police chief, the deadly knife used in the crime has yet to be recovered, and the deceased's body is at the Kerugoya Referral Hospital awaiting a postmortem.
