Police officers are looking into the death of a fourth-year Moi University student.
Officers were notified of the incident after Cynthia Mutinda, the student, was uncontactable on Saturday, causing her parents and friends to panic. When the officers arrived, they found the student dead in her room.
"We received a report today around 9 a.m. that a student who lives outside the school had died," Wilfred Mogere said. Kesses, OCPD, told Citizen. Digital

Her family and friends went to her house on Sunday, only to find the door locked from the inside--and, despite seeing her lying on the bed through the window, she remained unresponsive.
When they could access the house, they located her deceased body without evidence of injury or foul play.
"When they broke down the door they found her dead, but he body had no signs of injuries, we are investigating the matter to know the cause of death," Mogere stated.
According to Kesses OCPD Wilfred Mogere, officials await autopsy results to ascertain what killed the pupil.
