Jeff Dennis Khaemba, a producer for K24 Political Affairs, has passed away.

Colleagues of Khaemba confirmed his passing, stating that the scribe was taken to Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) on Tuesday morning following his Sunday discharge.

Khaemba, who had been dealing with health problems for a while, had a spike in his blood sugar at home, so his family hurried him to a nearby clinic.

Regretfully, his health worsened, and he had to be admitted to KNH for treatment.

He died, tragically, early on Tuesday.

His peers characterized Khaemba as a journalist who was committed to his work.

"A good man has rested Jeff Dennis Khaemba, the Political Affairs Producer at K24TV. Fare thee well bro till we meet again," Hilary Mageka, the Parliamentary and Political Reporter at People Daily, posted on Facebook.

Nominee Senator Esther Okenyuri expressed her condolences for the journalist and attributed her first TV appearance following her Senate membership to Khaemba.

"Saddened to learn about the sudden demise of Jeff Dennis Khaemba, a Political Affairs Producer at K24TV," she noted.

"I extend my heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. He organized my very first K24 Television appearance just after I had joined the Senate and other morning shows thereafter."

K24 had employed Khaemba for a year and a half as a political affairs producer.

His LinkedIn profile states that he has experience in various media fields from his work at different media houses.

He began working for Radio Jambo in August 2012 as a field reporter. In May 2014, he was appointed Head of News at Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) FM.

Later, in January 2022, Khaemba began working as a reporter for Ebru TV, where he developed his field reporting skills. A few months later, he started working as a political affairs producer at Mediamax Network.
