Tigania East MP Mpuru Aburi took the spotlight during Governor Kawira Mwangaza's impeachment case over his disturbing comments about the governor in leaked video clips.
Embattled Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza cried at the Senate hearing on her impeachment case, listening to those utterances made by other leaders.
While being cross-examined by her Advocate, Elias Mutuma, on some of the prior remarks made against her by those accused of being behind the bid to remove her from office, the Governor displayed an agitated and tearful demeanor.

The governor's attorney presented multiple video recordings before the Senate plenary to presumably demonstrate that the impeachment is a political witch-hunt.
MP Mpuru Aburi is filmed in one of the videos that made the Governor cry, angrily abusing her for not having children with her present husband.
The MP is filmed giving a charged address while rubbing a stick between his palms and speaking in Meru vernacular.
When asked by her attorney to inform the Senate what the MP said, Governor Kawira responds:
"He's saying he's given me nine months to get pregnant if that doesn't happen. "He'll do it through what he's holding," Kawira says before breaking down in tears.
The Advocate then plays another clip in which Meru County Deputy Governor Isaac Mutuma is heard criticizing the Governor's contentious outreach program, Okolea, where she has donated cows and mattresses to residents.
In another video, MP Mpuru Aburi is heard questioning the Governor's ethnicity and pushing residents to vote for a Meru-native leader.
When asked about the comments made by the politician, she responds: "He is saying the father of Kawira Mwangaza is called Njuguna and the mother Mugure and they don't want to be ruled by a Kikuyu in Meru and that is why they want to change to Peter Munya the first Governor."
