Tuesday saw a Japan Airlines aircraft catch fire upon touchdown at Tokyo's Haneda airport; all passengers were safely evacuated, according to national broadcaster NHK.

The passenger jet was captured on camera as it moved and burst into a massive fireball. Then, as firefighters attempted to extinguish the raging fire, the plane was seen coming to a stop, and people were escaping through emergency slides.

NHK reported that the aircraft carried about 400 passengers and crew members.

NHK reported that Japan Airlines flight 516 departed from New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido and arrived at Tokyo's Haneda Airport.

According to Japan Airlines, upon landing, the aircraft collided with what appears to be a Japan Coast Guard aircraft, as reported by NHK.

The aircraft on the flight was an Airbus A350-900, according to flight tracking website FlightAware.
