Jimmy Wanjigi, a businessman and former presidential candidate for the SAFINA Party, has aimed President William Ruto, arguing that high taxes and living expenses negatively impact many Kenyans.

According to Wanjigi, Kenyans have suffered under the Kenya Kwanza government's leadership due to taxes levied against them despite challenging economic conditions.

He has threatened to start a revolution to pressure the government to cut the cost of living, criticizing the President and his administration for not paying attention to Kenyans' pleas.

After meeting with Raila Odinga, the leader of Azimio, Wanjigi asserts that they have given President Ruto three months to modify his leadership style and will lead Kenyans to criticize the government in the days ahead.

The late Lydia Wanjiru Njuguna, the mother of former Mwea MP Peter Gitau, was buried at Gathigiriri Primary School. Wanjigi stated that Kenya's high cost of living prevents Kenyans from affording three meals a day.

While expressing dissatisfaction with President Ruto's leadership style, he has clarified that he is not at odds with Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro or Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

Wanjigi claims that the Kenya Kwanza administration has not fulfilled its election-related promises, and he vows to keep criticizing this administration.

He asserts that those Kenyans who backed President Ruto suffer the most, especially those in the Mt. Kenya region, which has high tax rates because of business and agriculture.
