The weather advisory issued by Kenya's Meteorological Department indicates that rain is expected in multiple regions.

It is expected to rain in the following areas: Northwestern Kenya, the Central Highlands, the Southeastern Lowlands, the South Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, and Western Kenya.

The Kenya Meteorological Department warns people to be cautious as isolated, heavy downpours may occur in some areas.

Several counties, including Turkana, Samburu, Marsabit, Mandera, Wajir, Isiolo, Garissa, Tana River, Lamu, Kilifi, Mombasa, Kwale, Taita Taveta, Kajiado, Makueni, Kitui, Laikipia, Baringo, West Pokot, Bungoma, Kakamega, and Busia, are expected to experience high daytime temperatures of over 30°C in addition to the rain.

Locals need to take the necessary safety measures to stay hydrated and cool.

In the meantime, areas of Nyeri, Laikipia, and Murang'a counties are predicted to experience cold nights with lows of 10°C, so dressing in layers and staying warm in the evening is advised.

To ensure their safety and well-being during this time, Kenyans have been urged by Kenya Met to stay informed and prepared for the changing weather conditions.
