One Chavakali Boys High School student has died and several others were injured after an Easy Coach bus was involved in an accident at Mamboleo, Kisumu County.
The students were heading home when it overturned at the Mamboleo junction on Monday, 9.00 pm.
According to police, three students sustained severe injuries and are currently admitted at Avenue Hospital, Kisumu while 30 others are undergoing treatment at the Jaramogi Oginga Teaching and Referral Hospital in Kisumu.
The bus company has confirmed the incident and promised a comprehensive statement. The bus was plying the Mbale-Nairobi route.
