Kenyan tycoon Narendra Raval has raised mixed reactions after saying that he believes William Ruto should serve as Kenya's president for over 25 years.
Speaking during the commissioning of the Cemtech Limited clinker factory in West Pokot, The executive chairman of Devki Group praised Ruto on Monday as a passionate leader who loves Kenya and for whom he lacks the words to express gratitude.
“He loves this country so much that I do not have words to thank him. [May] God give him 100 years of life. I wish we have this president for at least 25 years; we will change this country,” the tycoon said.

However, Kenyans on social media were not pleased by his remarks and accused him of trying to please the current regime.
"Narendra Raval is a conman and not a guru as he refers to himself in his book where he lies that he has never taken a bribe, yet his company Devki Steel was fined for price fixing. He has to ass-kiss subs," said Nyakundi.
"How did Narendra Raval become wealthy? Let us expose this Indian scoundrel." added lawyer Miguna.
"Narendra Raval is not a Kenyan, if he's benefitting directly from President William Ruto, that does not mean that he should speak on behalf of Kenyans who are being oppressed by the same guy.If he wants Ruto to be at State House for 25 years, then he should try it in India," Another X user added.
Other Kenyans agreed with the tycoon and praised the head of state, saying that Ruto is a visionary leader committed to delivering his promises.
