An influencer stabbed her boyfriend to death and pushed her two children out of a moving car before committing suicide on the day of the solar eclipse.
Danielle Cherakiyah Johnson fatally stabbed her boyfriend, 29-year-old Jaelen Chaney, inside their Woodland Hills, California, home in front of her 9-year-old daughter.
According to the Los Angeles Times, she stabbed Chaney in the chest as he was seated on the couch, then attempted to pull his bleeding body out of the apartment before giving up and dragging the body back into the kitchen.
She left in a dark Porsche Cayenne with her two girls, ages 9 and 8 months.
While driving on the 405 highway with her two children, Johnson slowed, unlocked the passenger door, and instructed her 9-year-old daughter to leave.
When the daughter refused to do what she was ordered, Johnson physically forced her out of the vehicle in the middle of the motorway while the 9-year-old held the 8-month-old infant.
According to officials, the child fell to the pavement and was tragically struck by a passing vehicle.
After Johnson pushed the children out of the car, reports say she drove south to Redondo Beach, California, at high speed. The car then slammed into a tree on the corner of an intersection, and Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to US media, Johnson was a renowned astrological influencer with over 100,000 followers on X. She went as @MysticxLipstick and referred to herself as a "divine healer" and astrologer.
In a post published days before the murder, she described Monday's eclipse as "the epitome of spiritual warfare" and stated, "If you ever needed to pick a side, the time to do right in your life is now."
She tweeted, "This eclipse is the epitome of spiritual warfare. Get your protection and heart in the right place!"
"The world is very obviously changing right now and if you ever needed to pick a side, the time to do right in your life is now. Stay strong. You got this."
Several hours before the killings, she also tweeted: "WAKE UP WAKE UP THE APOCALYPSE IS HERE! Everyone who has ears listen. Your time to chose what you believe is now. If you believe a new world order is possible for the people RT now!"
"There is power in choice. Repost to choose the collective!"
On her X account, Johnson compared the New Jersey earthquake to white supremacy and accused the government and media of concealing what she saw as a coming apocalypse.
According to authorities, neither the self-described "divine healer" nor her partner had any documented history of domestic violence or police calls, raising the possibility that Johnson's mad end-of-world
