President Ruto has condemned Iran's attack on Israel, calling it a development that could worsen the critical situation in the Middle East.
In a statement issued on Sunday, the Head of State emphasized that the attack is a blatant breach of the United Nations Charter.
President Ruto asked Israel to be extremely cautious in reacting to the act of aggression to avoid exacerbating the troubling situation.

"Kenya urges Israel to show utmost restraint taking into account the urgent need for all parties to walk away from the brink beyond which recovery will be enormously difficult," the president said.
Iran conducted the attack, its first to target Israeli territory directly, in response to a fatal air strike blamed by Israel that damaged its consulate in Syria's capital earlier this month.
Israel and its allies intercepted the great bulk of the incoming rockets, according to the Israeli army, injuring 12 people and killing none. Still, the incident heightened worries of an Israeli counterstrike.
G7 leaders criticized Iran's extraordinary strike and urged "restraint" from all sides.
"We will continue all our efforts to work towards de-escalation. Ending the crisis in Gaza as soon as possible, notably through an immediate ceasefire, will make a difference." European Council President Charles Michel wrote.
USA President Joe Biden reaffirmed the United States' "ironclad" commitment to Israel while also appearing to steer its partner away from a military response to Iran, their mutual opponent.
