The daughter of late former President Daniel Moi, June Chebet Moi, is set to be laid to rest today, Thursday, April 18, 2024, at her Bahati farm in Nakuru County.
A funeral mass will be held at the Kabarak University grounds.
June Moi passed away on April 11 at the age of 60.
Former President Uhuru Kenyatta will lead a delegation of Azimio la Umoja principals, including Kalonzo Musyoka, Eugene Wamalwa, and Mwangi Wa Iria, among others, to pay a final tribute to June.
A delegation led by Martha Karua, the leader of the NARC-Kenya party, visited the Moi family on Tuesday to offer their condolences.
