Standard Chartered Bank has launched its SC Juza Mobile Loan App, targeting the short-term lending market in Kenya and providing affordable financial solutions for salaried and non-salaried individuals.
The lender says the SC Juza Mobile Loan App aims to bridge the financial inclusion gap.
Standard Chartered Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kariuki Ngari asserted that the platform's flexible lending criteria will revolutionize the short-term lending market.
“Our goal with the SC Juza Mobile Loan App is to provide a reliable and flexible financial tool that meets the needs of Kenyans from all walks of life. Whether you are salaried or self-employed, our app is designed to help you access the funds you need quickly and easily,” he said.
Further, he said the lender is keen on leveraging technology to improve its financial inclusion modules.

The SC Juza Mobile Loan App offers loans from Kes 1,000 to Kes 100,000, with repayment periods of up to 60 days.
The lender says this will give borrowers ample time to manage their finances and repay their loans comfortably.
