The KPLC has finally repaired electricity wires hanging dangerously low along stretches of Kiambu Road after several homeowners' complaints.
This comes after Kenya Power personnel came in to clip the branches, posing a safety risk.
Heavy rains in the capital have recently caused trees to fall on key highways, such as Kiambu Road and State House Road.

"We are happy that officers have embarked on the plan that has seen some overgrown branches chopped off," said Mike Muhia, a bodaboda operator.
Locals praised the operation while urging the electricity supplier to focus on estates and neighborhoods.
