Ivanka Trump has spoken out for the first time about her father's felony conviction, expressing her distress over the situation. During an appearance on the "Lex Fridman Podcast," she discussed the impact of Donald Trump's conviction on her, saying, "It's painful to experience, but ultimately, I wish it didn't have to be this way."

Donald Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in the hush money case in New York. Lex Fridman asked Ivanka about the ongoing legal issues surrounding her father and how they have affected her.

Trump was convicted at the end of May, and President Biden mentioned it during last week's debate. Trump's sentencing has been delayed until September as his legal team attempts to overturn the conviction, citing a recent SCOTUS ruling that grants presidents immunity for official acts.

Ivanka emphasized that regardless of the outcome, her love for her father remains unwavering, stating, "No matter what happens with my father's case, I will love him unconditionally... because love always wins."
