Former Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria, who was dismissed along with other cabinet secretaries, has made a strong political statement. Kuria's name was not on President Ruto's first and second lists, so he lost his cabinet secretary title.

"If you push us out through the door, we will come back through the window. If you chase us through the window, we will return through the chimney. We are not going anywhere," he stated.

In an interview on Citizen TV, Kuria shared that he has received harsh messages from some Kenyans since his removal from the Cabinet. He expressed that, as a human being, such messages affect him deeply. Kuria added that being in his position takes work.

"Somebody sent me a message on my phone offering me a job ati 'hey niaje mzito, kuna job hapa kwa mortuary, unaonaje? Utaichukua?' It's harsh, it's terrible," the former CS said.

"There's a particular media house which has dedicated 10 minutes of their time every morning to trolling me. It is not easy," he added.

The former CS reflected on the events since his departure from the Cabinet and shared his future plans. Kuria stated that he now wishes to lead a private life and step away from public service.

He revealed that he intends to continue working on his book, which he began writing in January of this year. Additionally, Kuria mentioned that he has received invitations to lecture at international events, which he plans to pursue as part of his future endeavors.

"I am doing my private things, I am writing my book. I started writing my book in January. I have had a lot of invitations even before to speak at international forums and events about global issues. I am not short of things to do."
