Three people were killed on Sunday in a collision between a boda boda and a truck on the Jordan Bridge along the Kima-Esibuye Road in Vihiga County.
Reports indicate that all three individuals, who were riding on the same motorcycle, died at the scene. Francine Muchile, Chairman of the Boda Boda Association in Vihiga County, stated that he received news of the accident on Sunday afternoon. Upon arriving at the scene, he discovered that the victims were three local young football players who had succumbed to their injuries.
The exact cause of the tragic accident remains unclear. Muchile urged riders to prioritize road safety to prevent such incidents in the future.
