Police officers in Machakos have launched an investigation after a colleague stationed at Muungano Police Station tragically passed on after collapsing at her rented home.
According to a police report, Evans Adango, a civilian, reported the incident on Tuesday, October 8, around 10:00 p.m. after his wife, Police Constable Pauline Adenyoh, experienced a seizure.
Officers from Muungano Police Station, led by the OCS, responded swiftly to the call and rushed her to Reale Hospital in Utawala for emergency treatment. Unfortunately, upon arrival, medical personnel confirmed that she had passed away.
The report highlighted that the officer suffered a seizure before being pronounced dead upon reaching the hospital.
Her body was transferred to Chiromo Funeral Home, where it will remain pending a post-mortem examination.
