A group of bodaboda riders has expressed frustration over the poor road conditions in parts of the region.

According to the riders, the worst-hit areas include Sokomoko and Matopeni villages in Isukha East Ward. Residents have urged their leaders, particularly in Shinyalu Constituency, to address the issue urgently.

Speaking at Ivihiga Centre, the riders highlighted that, in addition to Sokomoko and Matopeni, the Ivihiga-Kisia route is also in a deplorable state.

“We are struggling to access our homes due to the damaged roads,” they said.

Attempts to reach local leaders for comment were unsuccessful, but residents are calling for immediate action.

“We appeal to our leaders to intervene and ensure these roads are repaired and made accessible,” they urged.
