Police in Kakamega are investigating the discovery of a decomposing body of a 42-year-old woman in a rental house in Musanda village, Lurambi Constituency.
Neighbors identified the victim as Evelyne, who had moved into the house two months ago. They reported learning about the tragedy through a message allegedly sent by the suspected perpetrator, who is said to have confessed to the crime.
The incident has left residents in shock, with many calling for a thorough investigation and demanding that the suspect face the full force of the law.
