Wiper leader kalonzo musyoka has come to the defence of the langata mp Felix odiwor, famously known as jalang'o, after his blocked entry into the azimio coalition retreat in Machakos county.
Musyoka stated during an Azimio coalition parliamentary group retreat led by ODM party leader Raila Odinga at Maanzoni Lodge in Machakos that members attempting to switch political allegiance after winning their seats have nothing to lose if elections happened today.
kalonzo went ahead to plead the case of langata mp jalango as entry into the retreat. He said that people at the party need to practice tolerance and that if someone wants to apologize, they should let him do so.
"I will not withdraw my remarks but imagine the state of mind poor Jalang'o is in…because now Kibera is his hostile ground. You know you are supposed to enjoy your tour of duty as an MP for your constituency," Kalonzo stressed.

The Wiper party leader criticized President William Ruto for trying to undercut the Azimio alliance rather than launching a bipartisan approach to gain support for the government's agenda.
"My friends, time is extremely important," he urged the Azimio members. What you do after Maanzoni may shape your future positive advancement in elective politics."
jalango gained entry after the commotion ended, but he left minutes after the azimio leader, raila odinga, entered the meeting. He claims that one of Raila's security asked him to leave the conference.
In a press briefing, jalango said that he feels terrible. He said that he loves Baba and that he is a member of ODM. Jalango has maintained that he did nothing wrong by meeting the president and that the mp will not apologize because the meeting was for the development of his constituency, adding that he is still in azimio.
Other members who paid a visit to president william ruto at the state house include Mark Nyamita, Caroli Omondi, and Shakeel Shabir.
