Kenya Power has informed residents of various estates in Nairobi, Machakos, Uasin Gishu, and five other counties of an upcoming power outage on Tuesday owing to scheduled maintenance.

The outage will occur between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., the power provider stated in a warning on Monday evening.

Parts of Umoja Innercore, Eastleigh First Avenue, Loresho, Mamlaka Road, Mukoma Road, Langata, and Nairobi West would be impacted in Nairobi; as a result, this.

At the same time, Kenya Power said that specific Mua Road households in Machakos would be without power for the same period.

The Ortum area in West Pokot County, as well as the Kapkoi and Tugen parts of Uasin Gishu, would be affected by the blackout.

During the eight-hour blackout, residents of Kiambu County will be without power in Kihara, Gachie, Membley, and Kiwanja. In contrast, Kwale County residents will only suffer the outage in some areas of Kwale and Mtwapa.

Bar Kadhiambo will experience the blackout in Siaya County, while Bakura will experience it in Kakamega County.
