Former Vice President Moody Awori received a visit from COTU Secretary-General Francis Atwoli on Wednesday at his residence in Lavington, Nairobi.

The COTU leader visited the nonagenarian's home with seasoned politicians, including former Westlands MP Fred Gumo and Attorney General Amos Wako.

In pictures he posted on Twitter, Atwoli is seen conversing with the well-known leader alongside his team and posing for a photo.

He remarked that meeting up with Hon. Moody to discuss many topics of shared interest was terrific.

We visited the former vice president of Kenya, Hon. Arthur Moody Awuor, at his Lavington Residence this morning with Sen. Amos Wako, emeritus attorney general, and Hon. Fred Gumo. It was wonderful catching up with Hon. Moody about various topics of shared interest.

The visit happened a week after online rumours circulated that Awori was no longer alive.

A few hours later, his relatives denied the claims, saying the 94-year-old was still alive and healthy.
