Suna east mp Junet Muhamed says that they are giving police officers and the government a two hours ultimatum to release azimio leaders who are in their custody

The suna east mp thanked azimio supporters for coming out to support the mass action declared by raila odinga. He went on to say that the country needs a change and that the people's issues have to be addressed

Nairobi senator edwin sifuna has accused the officers of disrupting peaceful protests with tear gas. sifuna was teargassed in the morning as he led a group of azimio leaders into the d by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna entered the Kenyatta International Convention Centre around 10 a.m.

Edwin Sifuna says that teargas will not scare them and that they must accomplish their mission. He added that the parliamentarians had walked from Parliament and had not carried weapons but were being teargassed.

Azimio la Umoja protesters are engaging the police in running battles in the CBD and other towns nationwide. A similar scenario occurred in Kibra Constituency, in which demonstrators blocked roads and threw rocks at police officers stationed there.

According to a video posted by an online user on Twitter, a group of young men are seen carrying the injured man to a motorcycle. Traders at Toi market can be heard yelling that he is a mechanic, not a demonstrator. Most businesses have remained closed.

Three demonstrators were arrested in Kawangware's Congo area as officers dispersed people gathered to join in the protests. Security is heavily deployed in the region to quell the protests.
