Nairobi County Senator Edwin Sifuna publicly advised President William Ruto through a social media site that if he is not prepared to engage the opposition, he should quit using state authority to threaten defenseless Kenyans so that they can deal with him.
Sifuna also reaffirmed that president William Ruto should have a thorough discourse with them in order to avoid the turmoil that was shown on March 20th, since responding violently is a sign that they have lost the debate.
"You have already lost the debates when you start responding violently. Join us in a lively discussion. Please withdraw the police officers so that we can speak with you alone if you are unable to engage us "Sifuna stated

But we're going to be ever vigilant. In fact, we've said we will not tolerate anybody calling themselves a police officer in civilian clothing on Monday and Thursday next week. Because that is how thugs are coming in within us and then harming people. - @edwinsifuna #BungeLiveSEN
