According to sources, when Kenyatta's farm was attacked by unidentified individuals who took some property, including sheep and trees, they eventually issued a statement today in the afternoon.

According to The Star-News, the KANU party's secretary general has stated that it is inappropriate to witness an invasion of the past two presidents of this country's property in broad daylight. As a result of the police's tardy response, KANU expressed their displeasure. They are providing their statement just as the police are entering Northlands City to begin their inquiry.

"George Wainaina, the secretary general of the Independence Party Kanu, has recently stated that it is objectionable that a former president's home can be invaded without authorities intervening. The SG expressed doubts in a statement as to how secure ordinary Kenyans' possessions are if it can happen to a former head of state." the reports claimed.
