During today's labour day celebrations at Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi County, Francis Atwoli just made people laugh after revisiting what he had earlier said during the campaign period.
This comes after he moved to remind President William Ruto of the time when he instructed Sugoi residents to take down trees.
He led the opposition to Ruto, who was running for president of Kenya Kwanza at the time and was the deputy president.

Atwoli stated that when he said the trees in Ruto's village in Sugoi were going to be taken down, he was only dreaming and suffering nightmares. Atwoli has additionally disclosed that he acknowledged Ruto's victory after the election last year because he was the first to do so.
"Mimi ndiye nilisema miti ikatwe. Miti ilikatwa Sugoi? Eeh? Mimi nilikuwa kwa ndoto zangu tu. Ama namna gani? (I was the one who said trees should be cut in Sugoi. I was just having my own dreams and nightmares. Or what?). And I was the first person to accept his election even before anyone had said anything. When I was in western I told people that this man has taken the seat and you must be aware," said Francis Atwoli.
