Raila Odinga, the leader of the Azimio party, has called on President William Ruto to respect his decision to engage in bipartisan talks and cease interfering in the affairs of the Jubilee party. Raila has urged Ruto to focus his attention on his UDA party and desist from playing political games.

Raila expressed his surprise at the UDA's letter supporting Kenini Kega's efforts to have a Jubilee MP involved in the bipartisan talks. He revealed that he was aware of the reasons why the Jubilee party had not been included in the talks and emphasized that he did not want to be provoked.

Raila's comments come amidst heightened political tensions in Kenya, with the country gearing up for the 2022 general elections. The bipartisan talks are an attempt to bring together political leaders from different parties to discuss issues affecting the country, including electoral reforms.

Raila's party, Azimio, has been one of the key players in the talks, with the leader playing a pivotal role in trying to bring together opposing factions. However, the recent move by UDA to support a Jubilee MP's participation in the talks has raised eyebrows and threatened to derail the negotiations.

President Ruto's alleged meddling in Jubilee affairs has also caused concern among political observers, with some accusing him of attempting to undermine the party from within. Jubilee has been beset by internal wrangling in recent months, with some members defecting to other parties, including Ruto's UDA.

Raila's call for Ruto to focus on his own party and desist from interfering in Jubilee matters is seen as an attempt to quell tensions and maintain the momentum of the bipartisan talks. However, it remains to be seen whether Ruto will heed the call or continue to play politics with the process.

As Kenya approaches the 2022 general elections, political tensions are expected to rise, with leaders from different parties jostling for position and trying to consolidate their support bases. The bipartisan talks are a critical forum for dialogue and consensus-building, and any attempts to derail the process could have serious consequences for the country's political stability.

Kanini Kega had sought for the restoration of Adan Keynan In the bipartisan talks but this was thwarted by Raila. It's clear that UDA also wants the bipartisan talks to include one MP from Jubilee given the fact that it's the largest biggest party in the country.

Raila Odinga has however affirmed that the jubilee party will not party to bipartisan talks. There is no discernible reason given by Raila for his desire to exclude Uhuru's party from all Azimio coalition decisions. It's only yesterday that he removed all jubilee MPs from Parliament committees.
