President William Ruto has decided to reshuffle the cabinet after the KEMSA scandal. The president stated that these re-appointments aim to ensure that relevant state departments are better equipped to implement various state programs effectively.
As part of these changes, Esther Ngero, who previously served in the Office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary in performance and management, has been transferred to the State Department of Correctional Services, which falls under the Ministry of Interior.
Recently, there have been significant changes in the Kenyan government's administrative structure.
