The First Lady, Rachel Ruto, rode from the State House to the United Nations Habitat Assembly's Second Session on Tuesday to open the Global Alliance of Cities for Road Safety at UNON Gigiri.
The First Lady's Mama Cycling project aims to promote eco-friendly transportation for clean cities, a core priority for the Global Alliance of Cities for Road Safety.
She will also convene the First Ladies Roundtable, expressing her vision for a more sustainable and inclusive future for all.
At the Assembly, First Lady Rachel Ruto and other notable speakers are slated to address how to construct resilient, equitable, and vibrant communities.
