On Tuesday night, a traffic officer in Mombasa County's Likoni Constituency died after his tuk-tuk was involved in a deadly crash.
The officer is said to have confiscated the Tuktuk to transport it to the Likoni police station before it collided with a speeding motorcycle.
Timothy Muasya, the Likoni constituency commander in chief of police, confirmed the incident, saying the officer died on the spot and the motorcycle operator was critically hurt.

The officer's body was taken to Mombasa County's main hospital morgue, while the injured were taken to the Likoni district hospital, where they are currently being treated.
