Tabitha Karanja, Senator Nakuru County, has recently announced her resignation as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Keroche Breweries, after 25 years of service. In her departure, she passed the baton to Potas Anaya, the company's current Chief Financial Officer (CFO), who will now assume the CEO role.

As the company began its 25th Anniversary festivities on Tuesday, Mrs. Karanja made an announcement about her resignation.

"Today marks a significant milestone as I make an important announcement. After 25 years as captain, the time has come for me, Tabitha Karanja, to pass the baton to a new generation of business leaders. It is with immense pride that I announce my decision to step down as CEO of Keroche Breweries and hand over to a deserving successor," said Mrs. Karanja in her farewell speech.

In the Kenyan brewing sector, Keroche Breweries is a well-known brand with a great history that dates back to 1997. The brewery was established by Joseph Karanja and his wife, Tabitha Karanja, with the goal of revolutionizing the Kenyan market for alcoholic beverages.

In their modest kitchen, Tabitha Karanja experimented with brewing small quantities of fortified wines, which was where Keroche Breweries got its start. The pair, driven by their entrepreneurial zeal, saw a need for locally made alcoholic beverages and made the decision to turn their hobby into a legitimate business.

Keroche Breweries gained traction and widened their product line to include spirits, vodka, and other alcoholic beverages after overcoming various obstacles and losses along the way. Due to its dedication to quality and innovation, the business swiftly developed a devoted following of clients.

Launching their flagship product, Summit Lager, in 2008 marked one of Keroche Breweries' significant turning points. This signaled their entry into the cutthroat beer business and established them as an aggressive competitor to renowned international breweries.

Keroche Breweries persevered and prospered in the face of legal challenges and fierce competition. The Karanja family's drive and entrepreneurial passion are evident in the company's success story.

The Keroche Breweries stand as a testament to domestic quality today, creating job opportunities and making a major economic contribution to Kenya. The business's dedication to assisting regional farmers by using locally produced raw materials has strengthened its reputation as a socially conscious enterprise.

Keroche Breweries continues to develop and adjust to shifting consumer expectations even as it commemorates its journey of more than two decades. The brewery is ready to embrace new ideas and build on the heritage set out by its founders with the transition of leadership from Tabitha Karanja to Potas Anaya.

Because of its modest beginnings, entrepreneurial spirit, and persistent dedication to quality, Keroche Breweries has become a leader in the Kenyan brewing sector. The brewery has left a legacy of passion and tenacity that has made its name synonymous with achievement and a brilliant example of what can be accomplished by tenacity and creativity.
