Michael Macharia alias DJ Brownskin who was detained and charged with aiding his wife's suicide, claims that the police disobeyed a court order that instructed that he be released.
The comedian further asserts that in order for him to be released from the Kasarani authorities Station, where he is now detained, the authorities are pressuring him to confess and acknowledge the offenses they are accusing him of.
DJ Brownskin was granted a KSH 50,000 cash bond at the initial court sessions, but the police have not yet let him go.

DJ Brownskin is now asking the court to summon the DCI Kasarani Division for breaching court orders granted last Friday through his attorney.
By deleting the footage he had posted on social media about his wife Sharon Njeri's suicide incident at their home in July 2022, DJ Brownskin was hit with three charges: aiding suicide, failing to stop a felony, and destroying evidence.
The DJ was detained earlier this month as a result of a viral video that purported to show him filming his wife allegedly swallowing poison. rewrite
